Today is 2004, month of November, day of election, blue sky, and nice weather. My wife is so kind, my children are blessing: So nice, so precious. They are me in the future, my treasure which matters. Why should I leave my house and vote? Just tell me one real reason? My life is in danger? My house is on fire or fascists and terrorists are taking my land? According to Bush Kerry, it is all the above. Well, why should I trust you? Modern politics are part of today entertainment. Good costumes, fresh ties, trash talk, and general phrases which means nothing to me or my people. Bush says that he fights for American people, and kills all the bad guys at home or abroad. Kerry says that Bush sucks, Bush fights for big business who hate common people. Who should I trust, the man who made 9/11 possible or rich senator who speak French? I think I will vote for Ralph Nader because he is for consumers, but basically I don’t care much. What will happen, will happen, one vote does not matter because our government is full of corruption and nonsense. These people do not know what they are doing, they are hired and fired every 2-4-6 years. Anyway, what I am talking about? I believe in myself, in my people, in justice and peace. When I will be an active citizen and start voting? When I will get paid for my time, my thinking, and my judgment? I refuse make judgments based on incomplete, distorted, and wrong information. I know how to keep my household safe and financially stable, but I am not nuclear expert. Are we at war, on the edge of disaster, and revolutions, social changes are coming to hunt us? Invisible hand of the market are hiring-firing people, it is making recession, inflation, recovery. Our leadership declare a war with some radicals and now we are searched in the airports, libraries, homes… Who are taking our freedom, democracy? Rich guys from big offices or poor boys from an Arab and African land?
