Part III Car Issues, Cop, and Work

One day I am driving to work.
My good old car starts smoothly, runs nicely.
I just drove few blocks from my home, when I’ve seen the police red-white-orange and something lights behind my back.
Why I am stopped? Tell me why?
After, one minute a guy in blue uniform comes to me, and I am ready with license and car insurance.
“May I see your driver’s license and car insurance?”
“Yes Sir“, and I give him my stuff.
The reason you are being stopped is the speeding.
You drove 50 in 30 miles/hr zone, plus your window is tented, and tail lights are broken.
He walks away and I sit in my car heavy hearted and angry.
Maybe I drive 40 miles per hour, but it is nice road and I make no car accident.
It is just make no sense to stop me for few miles over. Everybody speeds from time to time.
I realized that I am under battery charges for beating police and any wrong word may lead to arrest.
The heart beats out loud, I try to find a card with my lawyer’s phone number, but it is too dark in the car.
The card is lost somewhere, 5, 10, 15 minutes are gone, I see another cop car are approaching.
Am I going to jail again for no real reason, just random, 20 year old, male arrest, part of statistics?
He comes to me, gives me a speeding ticket and wishes “Good luck and Drive Safely”
I am kind of lucky for freedom to live as a free man.
I could be arrested for having 3 speeding tickets in one year, it is a current law which make no sense, but it is law.
Basically, if I think about it few things comes to mind about why I was stopped.
Only few miles per hour above the limit is not enough for pull over.
Old car, tented window, dimmed tail lights, poor neighborhood, ethnic minority, plus condo association hates me.
No wonder, I was stopped by police.
I should pay $75.00 or better $105 to the clerk of the court.
No reason to argue with judge over few miles, who is right, who is wrong, and what is going on the streets.
My words against policemen, who should “honorable” judge will believe?
In 99%, judge trust the police, they are part of law system,
Policemen, lawyers, judges are comrades to each other.
One company, one gang, thousand employees on government checks.
They receive good salary from our tax dollars in order to keep people safe.
But in fact, usually, they protect rich people, kill and harass poor people and ignore the rest.
Sure, there are good cop and bad ones, nice judges and rude ones.
There are always bad apples among good.
The part of the problem that they are rushed to make quick decision.
Quick decision are usually bad ones, because they shoot and insult people before any thinking.
Conclusion for us, middle class, are as follows.
Obey rules, laws, regulations, or they will stop you.
The problem is law, it is always gray, not black and white.
I am going to the law school to fight for consumers, but I have no illusion about the system.
I am old to remember.
