| I am missing a friend, he was killed at the age of eighteen. Such a nice guy, easy going, and fun, real Jew. Was he killed by the bullet in war in Chechnya? Was he killed by suicide bombing in bus, Tel-Aviv? Was he killed by some stupid mistake? No, he was killed by drunk driver in Chicago, US. Just another statistics, not a news story for Fox, CNN. Where is fun, where is talk, where is my friend? I asked to the gasket. I asked to the sky. No answer, just wind, snow. God is silent or dead, I don’t know. Our dead are here for us. Our fallen are our guardian angels for us. Where is life, where is death? What is the point of life? What is government doing to prevent number 1 accidents killer? I am asking the teachers, elders, co-workers, family, friends. They don’t know because they keep running for money and bread. They are busy, their answers are short. It is not their job to consol. Nothing really changed. Just one person is dead, plus the money exchange. Funerals are getting so expensive these days, thousands dollars for gasket and service. What a legal rip off! Clouds are over, sun is shining again. I must go to work to bring bread to the table. Is money a measure of brain and purpose of life or the root of all evil? Who invented the car? Who invented that road? Where is progress? Why did drunk drive a car? I am asking my friend, but he sleeps in a gasket, and my questions are unanswered. |
