I stand in Secretary of State wasting my present, dreaming of future, singing past songs.

Government offices are places of waiting,
Waiting hours, waiting in lines, waiting in seats, sitting, standing.
I think of my government meetings: schools, police, court, prison.
Public high schools and public colleges are all the same.
Lines, papers, stupid teachers, boring subjects.
They called me a criminal, they called me a weirdo,
I did throw rockets, I swear, I smoked.
I think I that I did it because I was bored.
Police sent me to judge for only expression of freedom.
I asked to the Judge "Where is the justice?" He sent me to prison.
Was they afraid of my innocent questions?
I stand in line wasting my time, dreaming of future, hoping that thoughts kills the boredom of present.
Few hours of waiting in crowded building put me to sleep, sleeping by standing.
Enough of the schooling, what else I remember?
Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, day, night, birth, death, these things are the cycle.
Is hope a compass for people?
Is death at the mature age award for the patience?
I don’t know what will happen, know only what today.
Secretary of States is driver license place, it should not be the line of waiting.
Five years ago I stood in lines hours, now I sit hours. Where is progress?
Children are running, babies are crying, people are tired, time is spent.
Few seconds with reception, few seconds with clerk, few seconds with cashier.
From line to line, from chair to chair, from man to the man, I wait for paper, I wait for receipt.
Officer friendly, sing me a song of action, song of fun and inspiration.
I want to say to the officer: “Hey dude, men are born for the actions, love, joy, not for lines, boredom, and prison.”
But, I think if I say him the truth, he will not get it, and I will be in trouble for really, really nothing.
Finally, my picture is taken, I wait for result, and I am finally out.
I am free to go, I am free to run.
Let me smell the nature, Let me be at home.
