The reason I am writing this letter is the security of the Foxing Meadows 13rd District Circuit Court. As an American citizen I am very concerned that there is no camera which monitors what is going on the halls of this building. This gives security of the court the opportunity to harass any person whom they don’t like. The cameras are already installed in the important buildings and on some intersections of the roads in Chicago. I believe that 13rd District can afford cameras.

I am not sure if I will personally benefit from these cameras because I am honest taxpayer who is employed and have his own business. I certainly do not have a lot of free time to spend in the 13rd District Court, but I am concerned about my fellow citizens. On the other hand, some events can happen which I may not plan. For instance, on December 3rd 2004, I was looking for free legal help how to run small business and back injuries settlements. On that day, I was approached by the security, put in handcuffs, locked in jail cell for about four hours. Security conducted illegal operation. It is not only that they were rude. I believe it was an accident of hate crime and police brutality. At this time, I am not going to write about details how they emotionally and physically insulted me. Yet, as a result of their actions, my health is in jeopardy. Back pain and a lot of sleepless nights are just few examples that my health is in jeopardy. I also could not work as an employee and as a business owner due the December 3rd event. This case is not solved yet. Maybe on May 29 will be a fair trial, or maybe it will take years to find out what happened during these four hours. I may put in jail and die there. My lawyer and me certainly hope for quick and fair results.

I hope that my personal case will help to install cameras in this building. I look forward hearing from you.
